Vungle Partners with Kakao

Vungle, the leading performance marketing platform for in-app video ads, has announced it has partnered with Kakao, a free mobile instant messaging application for smartphones, to support the Kakao Game Ad+ Service, Kakao’s new business model of generating revenue from in-game advertisements. Under this new partnership, Vungle will enable Kakao to engage with active customer segments most likely to install; develop new video ads and interactive end cards designed to maximize conversion; and identify the right publishers for their customers.
When users watch an in-app video ad, they receive in-app rewards, which are proven to boost engagement and acquisition of high lifetime value (LTV) users. App developers can leverage the new partnership by simply applying the Ad+ software development kit (SDK) to their games in order to generate more revenue—or, in some cases, uncover entirely new revenue streams.
