Simon James London Launches Two New EMPIRE Fragrances

Simon James London celebrates EMPIRE, FOX’s groundbreaking show that glimpses into the world of hip hop through the lives of an iconic family dynasty, with two extraordinary fragrances evoking the very essence of the shows characters.

Under the licensing partnership with 20th Century Fox Consumer Products, Simon James London has created two extraordinary new fragrances Lyon’s Truth – for women & Lyon’s Legacy – for men. Inspired by the show’s epic family dynasty – the Lyons.

– Lyon’s Truth, the luxurious women’s perfume, is a beautiful floral blend mixed with blackberry and velvet plum with hints of Bulgarian rose, vanilla orchid and violet blossom. The scent also has notes of creamy sandalwood, rich vanilla and soft tonka that provide a most sensual base.
– Lyon’s Legacy, the sophisticated men’s cologne, is a masculine scent that opens with a sparkling blend of bergamot and lemon water with an atomic heart of lavender buds, crisp geranium and clary sage. This fragrance has a drydown enriched with dark mysterious notes of warm amber, vanilla suede and tobacco leaf.

The packaging inspiration for the EMPIRE fragrances is the instantly transformative narrative of striking gold in the music industry as expressed via the gold hue, crocodila trim, and Jeweled facets of the bottle and cap designs.

Creative director Simon Peek added, “The creative challenge was to capture in our bottle and packaging design the overt expressions of luxury, street swagger and bravado of the iconic show which culminated in the finishing touch off the Empire “E” pendent that adorn both fragrance bottles — we believe we captured this essence brilliantly.”
