Jason Walker Re-Joins Douglas Elliman

Dottie Herman, the President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, is pleased to announce that Jason Walker, a well-known and successful real estate agent who has procured more than $1 billion in sales in his real estate career, is re-joining the firm. Walker was a top-producing agent at Elliman for more than ten years.
“Howard and I have been trying to get Jason to come back here since he left us in 2015,” said Herman. “We have continually been in contact with him, especially during the last few months, and we have come to an agreement for his return. Douglas Elliman is where Jason belongs. I am delighted that he is home.”
Walker was initially recruited to real estate by Dottie Herman and within a year, earned the firm’s Rookie of the Year award. Since then, his experience has grown to include representation of properties at some of New York City’s most élite residences, including homes at The Plaza, The Dakota and some of Downtown’s most prestigious addresses. He is known for his work with high-net worth, high-profile clients, most recently including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
Known for his keen market knowledge in both resale and new development, negotiation skills, attention to detail and insatiable pursuit of perfection, Walker enjoys a loyal client following, as well as respect from colleagues. “Jason has a proven track record in our industry and we consider him a true asset,” added Herman. “We expect our renewed relationship to be long and successful.”
Before he began his real estate career a decade ago, Walker was prominent in the marketing, design and retailing of luxury goods. Prior to his work in retailing, he was involved with talent management.
“As a top broker, I wanted to be affiliated with a top firm,” stated Walker. “Douglas Elliman and I have been discussing my transition for the past few months, as I felt the company is the best place for my needs, as well as those of my clients. In recent weeks, I had been waiting for a high profile deal to close, prior to making the move home.”
