Jason Carney Joins Mad Mobile

TAMPA, Florida, February 2, 2017

Mad Mobile announced today the addition of technology veteran Jason Carney as VP of Technology Operations. Carney joins Mad Mobile with more than 20 years of technology leadership experience with retail and in-store digital innovation.

Carney was most recently the CIO of Vogue International where he led the growth of its technology organization and systems through their successful sale to Johnson & Johnson for $3.3 Billion in 2016. Prior to Vogue, he held technology leadership roles at Catalina Marketing, Modiv Media, and Stop & Shop Supermarkets.

As VP of Technology Operations at Mad Mobile, Carney will lead the evolution of the technical infrastructure to support the award-winning Concierge solution. He will be bringing this support to top retailers including Talbots, Books-A-Million, and Ashley Furniture. The Concierge solution empowers store associates and customers with mobile access to retail system data, which can be displayed on mobile devices or in-store digital screens such as smart mirrors, to enhance the shopping experience and convert more sales.

“As we enter this next phase of growth for Mad Mobile, Jason is a critical addition to the Mad Mobile leadership team,” said Bruce Bennett, CEO. “He brings a record of proven results in overall service delivery and operational support, platform infrastructure scalability, and integration partnerships. This will be critical for Mad Mobile’s success with increased customer implementations for the world’s largest retailers.”

“I joined Mad Mobile because the company’s solutions are transforming retail with technology. Retailers are at a key stage of their evolution, where they must adapt to compete with online competitors and meet the needs of the modern shopper in-store,” Carney said. “I’m excited to join such a talented team with a tremendous customer base and vision for re-inventing retail.”
