Impark Deploys New Parking App in Canada
Imperial Parking Canada Corporation (Impark) announced the deployment at parking facilities throughout Canada of hangTag™, a new parking app. HangTag allows parkers to conveniently locate parking facilities on a map, view lot details, get driving directions, and pay for parking without going to the meter. The app also provides an early notification when a session is about to expire, allowing parkers to extend time right from their phone.

HangTag was first launched in August at Impark facilities in Vancouver, BC, and has since expanded to over 860 Impark locations across Canada, with plans for further expansion of the service through the company’s operations in the United States.
Hangtag is currently available for use at parking facilities in Vancouver and the B.C. Lower Mainland, Kelowna, Kamloops, Prince George, Whistler, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg, London, Hamilton, Toronto, Ottawa and Halifax.
